to enhance law enforcement efforts to reduce alcohol and drug-related crashes
work with prosecutors and courts to ensure the efficient processing of those convicted of DUI offenses and referred to VASAP for processing
and work with courts to develop appropriate probation revocation
the Independent Local Policy Board Director of the Commission on VASAP calls for county representatives to be someone from the local bar, law enforcement, education or other interested groups such as a local transportation safety commission
