The Capital Area Health Advisory Council is a 20-member Advisory Board to the Central Virginia Health Planning Agency which holds public hearings on all Certificate of Public Need applications. CVHPA is comprised of health care providers and consumers.
The Advisory Council meets quarterly on the 4 th Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Dumbarton Library on Staples Mill Road in Richmond.
Local representatives are appointed by the CVHPA Nomination Committee after being identified by the Board of Supervisors as being qualified and interested. Click here for information on current representative.
