The Richmond Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors is comprised of elected officials from Richmond, Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, and New Kent as well as representatives from the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce & Retail Merchants of Richmond. Its purpose is to promote convention and tourism development in the Richmond metropolitan area in order to increase revenues, provide increased employment and improve the economic health of all of the jurisdictions involved.

Board members serve 3-year terms with no limit on the number of consecutive terms served
