Smart Beginnings Leadership Council guides the Smart Beginnings Program, a coordinated effort between government and business to promote school preparedness planning in the Richmond Region, an important regional issue identified by the Capital Region Collaborative, of which New Kent County is a member.
The Leadership Council meets quarterly at 8 a.m. on the 2nd Wednesdays of the month (February, May, August & November), at 2001 Maywill Street, in Richmond.
The Leadership Council is made of up of representatives from all of the area jurisdictions.
