RECEIPT OF BIDS 

A. Sealed Bids for the construction of the HVAC Replacement at the New Kent County Circuit Court will be received by New Kent County at 12007 Courthouse Circle, PO Box 150, New Kent, VA 23124. Bids shall be sent to the attention of the COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR. 

B. Bids will be received until Thursday, May 26th, 2022 at 2:00 pm, local time, and shortly thereafter the Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. 

1.2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK 

A. The work includes, but is not limited to the furnishing of the labor, materials and equipment and the construction of the following: 

1. Removal and replacement of ceiling systems. 
2. Removal and replacement of louvers. 
3. Minor vinyl siding removal and replacement. 
4. Reinforcement of existing wood trusses. 
5. Removal of existing split system HVAC units and associated ductwork, air devices, controls, etc. 
6. Removal of existing boilers and associated appurtenances. 
7. Installation of new split system HVAC units, air handling units, VAV boxes and associated ductwork, air devices, controls, etc. 
8. Installation of new boilers and associated appurtenances. 
9. Electrical modifications to support removal of existing HVAC systems and installation of new mechanical systems.
