  1. National Drug Take Back Event

    October 27, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Sheriff's Office Parking Lot

    The New Kent Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the DEA will be participating in the National Drug Take Back on October 27, 2018. Citizens are invited to bring unwanted or expired narcotics by the New Kent Sheriff’s Office between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm on that date. The items collected will be deposited in the take back container by the citizen and at the end of the day the items collected will be transported to a location to be appropriately destroyed. Personnel will be set up on the parking lot between the Courthouse and the Sheriff’s Office to allow citizens to simply drive up and deposit the items into the collection bin. Please take advantage of this program and help us reduce the likelihood of these dangerous items falling into the hands of others or being improperly disposed of and endangering the environment.
