"Step Right Up" this weekend for our big Candy Carnival Summer Kickoff event on Saturday, June 3rd! In New Kent, at 3pm, there will be a petting zoo, face painting, fresh popcorn and snacks, games with prizes, and crafts. Lots of fun! Our Summer Reading activities will run from June 3rd through August 12th. Readers of All Ages are encouraged to sign up, pick up a challenge sheet to complete, and return it to the library for a chance to win prizes. The summer months are a very important time for the Library. We hope you will come out and show your support by participating in these activities.

The New Kent Farmers Market will be open for the 2023 season, rain or shine, on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm starting May 13, 2023 and running through August 26, 2023. Location of the Market pavilion is 7589 New Kent Highway, New Kent (at the roundabout at New Kent Hwy, or Route 249, and Vineyards Parkway, or Route 106).
